Yasmina Dedijer-Small's (b. 1975, Los Angeles) inspiration is found through the observation of the unfolding and sinuous patterns in both nature and the populations of people who are most connected to it.  She believes that within these patterns lies a universal language holding transcendent qualities. Yasmina Dedijer-Small currently lives and works in the Pacific Northwest. She received a Bachelor of Fine Art from San Jose University. Exhibitions include The Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (Santa Cruz, CA), Newport Visual Art Center (Newport, OR), The Great Highway Gallery (San Francisco, CA), Leeward Surf & Sea (Portland, OR), Wieden & Kennedy Gallery (Portland, OR), H Space (Costa Mesa, CA) , and at La Kitchen (Paris, France). Her work has been published several times in Japan’s "Blue" magazine, The Surfer’s Journal, Salted, and Foam Symmetry.
